Rhizome is an online platform for the global new media art community since 1996, i.e. born digital art. Programs include exhibitions, commissions, journalism and education. It maintains two online archives, one of digital art and the other of new media art-related writing, as well as a calendar and listings of opportunities and resources in the field. Rhizome is an affiliate of the New Museum of Contemporary Art.
