What is in this guide
This guide gathers together recommended sources on decolonizing design philosophies, theories, processes and practices. It includes databases for design resesarch, scholarly journal articles, books (print and ebooks), and websites. It is a collaboration between design faculty at Emily Carr University of Art + Design and myself! Choose your preferred media types from the side menu. Please note that this guide is a work in progress and is by no means exhaustive! It could be seen as a starting point for research in
decolonizing design . As always, if you have any recommendations for additional resources or general comments, I would be grateful to receive them via email to Vanessa Kam. Enjoy!
