Latin American Cinema

The intent of this guide is to provide an introduction to Latin American/Latinx cinema and media studies through a series of resources. The resource lists are by no means exhaustive nor complete and we invite ECUAD’s community to contribute suggestions to the library to continue building Latin American / Latinx cinema and media resources.

This initiative came out of an EDI course release where sessional faculty member, Sarah Shamash, in collaboration with ECU’s librarians, Ana Diab and Vanessa Kam, worked to build a more robust list of Latin American and Latinx media resources with the intent of furthering critical media studies and expanding the library’s collection.
